Worst batsman with a 50 average

Fanboy375

U19 12th Man
In Compton time players score big innings less.Like there is a growth of 1st class batting average from 20s to 40s

Compton is overrated by many imo. I’m far from his biggest fan, as I believe I’ve stated multiple times.

But he’s definitely not the worst batsman to average above 50.

I am not surprised anymore by Don Bradman’s stats

Steven Smith being ahead of the rest is slightly surprising

50+ matches and batting average > 50 : 30 batsmen
200+ wickets and bowling average < 25 : 27 bowlers
That's why Murali is a bigger legend than Sachin.Besides him none spinners had so low average and very few bowlers has better average than him but Sachin has seen contemporary with similar or better average than him
