Why wouldn't Kallis be able to score that match defining hundred? He might be inferior to Sachin/Lara as a batter but he was an ATG as well, and always felt like the gap among the top players is smaller than we often think.
Same.

The difference between top 10 batsmen(in the last 80 years) is very minimal in my opinion

Literally I am having as an improvement in the 4th bowler department, as I think by skill he is better than Akash Deep. We literally broke down Bumrah by overbowling him, Kallis would hugely help with that. And re batting, Kallis has a better record in Australia than Lara.
We are comparing him with Tendulkar in this thread.

Would you keep Kallis as a permanent 3/4th pace bowling option then and expect him to bat at 4 to allow an extra bat in your Indian team? He bowls 20 overs a game on average. Akash Deep bowled twice as much.

I don't agree re the skills level wrt Akashdeep. Akashdeep imo is a higher skilled bowler than Kallis by quite a decent margin actually. His numbers won't just show it yet, but hopefully he has a long and successful career to prove it
I would be happy if he does and he surely was very unlucky, sometimes almost comically, this tour, but can't say he really was good as well. Think Kallis could have done better. And at the very least, he is an improvement over the 4th pacer Reddy by a very fair margin. Giving him 9-10 overs an innings would have been really beneficial for Bumrah. I think in particular this tour was one where I will take Kallis over even Sachin easily, just for the flexibility he provides.

How many Reddy-Sundar-Jadeja combined bowled??

After seeing Akash Deep bowl, I wouldn't attach the word skillful to him.

And from the footages I've seen, Kallis could swing the ball away from the batter more than Akash.

I'm not talking one series. I am talking the permanent makeup of your team. Would Kallis be one of four regular bowlers to accommodate an extra bat?
Hmmm..... In the Jadeja-Ashwin era I will take Sachin.
Now that Ashwin has retired and Jadeja will follow his suit, probs Kallis.
India in Sachin's age itself would benefit more from Kallis than him though.
