What is this fascination with hitting the deck lol. All I would expect from bowlers is to pick the wickets.
That Ambrose got the most zip out of the surface in history. He hit the deck so hard that the ball rushed off the pitch, with extra bounce, zip and nip, causing fear to batsmen. What the fk are you talking about?
Hitting the deck is absolutely incredible to watch. When the likes of Cummins bowl, you almost see that they are disgusted or revolted by the idea of bowling full and looking for swing. And I share that revulsion and detest swing! What is this fascination with hitting the deck lol. All I would expect from bowlers is to pick the wickets.

I'm thinking if I hit him in the deck he won't swing back.@Prince EWS @Red_Ink_Squid should any steps be taken against this deck hitter?

McG has bowled literal reverse swing before, you ain't fooling no oneSeam movement. Don't disrespect McGrath like this!
Never. GD McGrath never swung the ball. He hit the deck so hard that 130kph became 150kph off the deck, generating extra bounce and hitting the shoulder of the bat. GD McGrath regarded swing bowling as a moral defeat.McG has bowled literal reverse swing before, you ain't fooling no one

No. Masters can be ahead of geniuses. So, Lara was a genius, Tendulkar and Marshall were not.
Lara>Marshall/Tendulkar?
What are your thoughts on Steyn?Hitting the deck is absolutely incredible to watch. When the likes of Cummins bowl, you almost see that they are disgusted or revolted by the idea of bowling full and looking for swing. And I share that revulsion and detest swing!
Then what does this post say?No. Masters can be ahead of geniuses.
Lara is a genius. Ambrose is not.
Yeah but he didn't really employ swing or reverse as a regular matter. This is a bowling masterclass from McGrath, where he starts teaching swing bowling at 1:57, and also goes on to teach reverse swing.
That wasn't my point....and you know that wasn't my point.Yeah but he didn't really employ swing or reverse as a regular matter.
Ambrose has a much lesser level of mastery than Tendulkar or Marshall. Then what does this post say?
That's understandable (and I agree with that)Ambrose has a much lesser level of mastery than Tendulkar or Marshall.
