Best overseas batsmen In Australia

Kohli probably doesn't deserve to be in this list anymore. He has 7 hundreds, but outside of the 2015 road series his series averages in Australia are 37, 40, 39 ( 1 match) , 24. Has some great innings but that's extremely underwhelming tbh. Only 4 50+ scores apart from his 7 hundreds. Pujara might have a case to be above him tbh because his runs just meant a lot more. Would maybe put Cook, Amla above or around the same level.

Among batsmen I haven't watched, Lloyd has probably the best numbers apart from Viv/Sachin. Toured 5 times and was good in each series.

2 centuries in 15 innings including one where Steve Waugh bowled >30 overs and was outscored by Andrew Jones, though admittedly it looked like an attacking high strike rate innings.
So let me guess, you never saw Martin Crowe bat live....

Yeah he was before my time. Don’t know why you have to be condescending.
You're the one looking up Martin Crowe stats and deciding he wasn't any good without seeing him. How about listening to people who saw him play before you do that.

Nobody’s made any points or arguments on why he’s the top 5 best visiting batsman in Australia in this thread except listing his name and stating his average. At least I looked up the context of that number. You’re free to add more information and context if you think that’s useful because saying I haven’t seen him live is not useful.

How convenient a date to ignore most of the best touring bats to Australia
Ask Damien Fleming then . I made this thread based on his video.

In case you missed earlier discussions he made a video of best overseas fast bowlers in the same timeframe
