Tendulkar and Hadlee were both better for longer. I edited the post to explain better. If I was getting them for a short period of time Marshall and Richards might be preferred, otherwise give me Hadlee and Tendulkar.

Hadlee is an AR, unlike Marshall.

So, Hadlee & Sachin.

But if it's only about primary skill, then it's ultra close.

Hadlee and Sachin. Sachin slightly better than Viv and Maco slightly better than Hadlee. But Sir Richard was a decent lower order batsman/AR so that gives them the edge.

Depending on the pair you choose, you would get them for your team for the next 15 years.
Lol Marshall didn't even have a 15 year career so Hadlee and Tendulkar win by default.

Both Viv and Marshall were single short peak players.

Tendulkar and Hadlee both remained worldclass for near or longer than 15 year stretches.

Just out of curiosity do you know the RPI for Hadlee vs Marshall?

23 vs 17.

Just saying.
Yeah, what now???

Marshall is ahead of Hadlee, but Sachin is ahead of Richards; and I think the gap is very small (top 1 bowler+ top 4 batter vs top 3 bowler+ top 2 batter). So, on primary discipline it's ultra close. So, if I had to go for any of their secondary discipline, I'd choose Hadlee. Their run output might be close, but Hadlee is definitely better here.

And I call Hadlee an All rounder because I set the restriction of at least 20 run output per innings to qualify as an all rounder, where Marshall falls short.

And why wouldn't I know their RPI? Do you think Cricinfo is not available in BD?? Or do you think we don't have internet facilities?

I was actually thinking of their primary skill alone
Oh we're going by primary skill. Then Viv and Malcolm. Malcolm is, imo a better pace bowler than Hadlee. I rank Viv less than Sachin as batmen (longevity reason only) but going up against an atg great attack full of pace and class spinner, I'm trusting Viv to more likely get runs than Sachin. Again, that's just me and my ill informed stupid opinion. If anybody wants to come with their stupid axx spread sheet reasons why I'm wrong, they can shove it....
