Can't blame the young kid who has taken three wickets even if a bit flukey. Siraj was the one who was expected to stand up and hasn't really.
everyone has been talking about bowler workloads re everyone except Siraj, who’s also played five tests. He’s performed pretty much as expected hasn’t he? Been solid with one really good spell second dig at Melbourne

Just some of the hundreds Smith made in his peak that were in unfavourable or challenging conditions for batting:

Completely agree, and I usually can't stand the guy.

Honestly Cummins is my MOS for Australia.

He took 25 wickets but each worth it's weight in gold and seemed timed to change the flow of the game. Yesterday took Pant just when needed, today again did the decisive blows. Jaiswal in the 4th test and so on.

Handy runs and proactive captaincy.

Australia honestly seem to have a mental block in BGT in recent years and he deserves massive credit for breaking the spell.

Mom - Boland
Mos- Cummins.

Biggest test series victory ever for Australia past 10 years. As they were unable to beat India for so long.

Haha I remembered how much I loathed his bowling but I had forgotten the Vinay Kumar comparison completely
I loved that the comment was "How can you be this **** on a pitch this helpful?" in that post back then too. Very apt to dig up for today's performance.

I like how you stopped watching the game and went digging for these to prove a point you’re wrong in

Siraj is a shadow of the bowler of the previous tour. Looks like he has effectively peaked as a bowler.
For a guy his age and with his experience, he doesn't seem seasoned or wise enough, like say how Zaheer Khan went from a wayward tearaway to a very smart bowler

Him or Trav. Two vital tons, runs in Perth in a losing cause as well and icing it here.
Boland been great but just like Woakes getting MOTS in the Ashes was a sick joke, so would giving it to someone here who’s played 3/5 of the matches

If they're giving Gambhir a 2-3 year term, they have to plan the team without Rohit, Kohli, Jadeja possibly even Bumrah when he isn't available. Even Shami isn't going to feature much in red ball cricket.

Otherwise there's no point of this appointment tbh especially with all his raw raw speeches about 'being selfless' and 'team before personal milestones'
