Can't even then. He needs a kick in bum and shown the way out.
is there a replacement or is he becoming you all's pope? Sarfaraz had a stellar FC record but looked genuinely dreadful against pace and Gill also isn't much of an upgrade.

Honestly, at this moment most are an upgrade. For now, I will back Jurel and Paddikal, Sarfaraz have to play at home. Never liked Gill much, but for now he can stay.

will you lose it if he sticks for another WTC cycle?

We will lose anyways..... Though honestly, I thought he would suck in 2023 as well. Everything pointed to that, but instead he had the greatest World Cup by any batsman. So, who knows? Personally think Test and ODIs are way different as formats.

Edit: smh thought you were talking of WCs...... I really don't care for the WTC much, the format is a bad joke; but anyways don't want him to.

he plays test better when he's also consistently playing one days, I've noticed that his decline was sharply at the turn when one days stopped being played, and last year when he played ODIs and tests simultaneously and frequenly he looked a lot more confident and better, got two hundreds in ODI and then that amazing world cup, maybe that plays a factor.

If doesn't score a century at SCG atleast, I don't want him to see in whites Ever Again.

Yeah, almost everyone wants him out of the team by now. We still got somewhat exited after his ton in the 1st Test, but now; yesh..... Good luck with whatever you want to do post retirement. Especially the way he gets out while trying to drive pacers outside the 5th stump, over and over again, is such pathetic **** for a player who looked a sure shot Test ATG at one point in time.
But I'm still not convinced he'll be rated any lower. I reckon he's still rated as the best in fab 4 in IND. And I know I'm right.

I know what you want. You just want him to average sub 45.
Here are the pluses of Kohli playing in England for me

  1. The Indian number 4 would be more or less a tailender, combine with reckless intent merchant Pant, the Indian middle order would be weak and thus England's chances would rise.
  2. He would likely abuse Root or Brook or Duckett and they'd play an amazing inning or get in form for the rest of the series.
  3. His average would drop to, max, 45 and thus would aid my Sir Frank Worrell > Virat Kohli agenda and would end any nonsensical decision of Kohli being a greater Batsmen than Peter May.
  4. considering how India and England drew a series where England was barely clutching to it's test status via the heels of Joe Root, we can again trash them 4-0 or 4-1 like we did in 2018, 2014 and 2011.
so perfect.

I don't like any of these.

Just curious. Do you rate Harvey ahead of May?

Too early to compare them with a bowler who has played 165+ matches and picked up over 600 test wickets
Not to early actually. I'm sure, if ENG remains the test spammer they are now, both of them will get 600 wickets.

Broad is too lucky-
1) to have a cute face.
2) to be born in ENG.
