Why? The umpire on field has to make a decision based on whether they saw the ball make contact and deviate. If the third umpire can see that on the replay, they don't need the extra tech.
Yeah in fairness to him no one who got through the new ball in this test did so without a decent measure of luck

From the front angle it was clear that there is a deflection, but from the side angle it appeared as if it’s tricky to make out purely basis visual evidence
