Kohli is utterly useless. Doesn't look for singles but goes and does that instead.

Use of bold font - inspirational. In future there should be no place for mentally weak players in the side however technically good they are or how prolific they are in the domestic circuit. Cricket is not about technicality or just talent but about GRIT AND RESILIENCE. Look at Cummins, Lyon or any other Australian blood . And that's what India lacks over decades. We have witnessed it in 2023 ODI world cup finals. Remember Zaheer Khan's atrocious wide first over in the 2003 World Cup final that set the tone of the game with his visible fear and mental fragility. Mentally unfit cricketers who fail time and again in crunch situations are the biggest bane of Indian Cricket. That's why India don't win any major tournaments
India have been a bit unlucky to see Khawaja hold both of those. Also it makes a difference when catches aren’t dropped doesn’t it
I don't see you spilling tears thoughJeez he’s a shell these days, Virat. It’s sad to watch
Jadeja and Reddy have been their better bats as well and they're yet to come. The commentators saying India almost gone here...they bat down to ten for ****'s sake. When they are 80/8, they'll then be 'almost gone'.
thankfully not in LO formats. its confined to red ball cricket. He doesnt play Ranji trophy to keep in nick either. They think its too good for them.Jeez he’s a shell these days, Virat. It’s sad to watch
You gotta name me more important innings in the context of the match situation and the series. Can't believe he failed in the most important innings of his entire career.
Nah I genuinely wanted a big swan song from him this tour. Been a great player.I don't see you spilling tears though
I haven't heard of a single person who hasn't realized and admitted that India has been second best for most of the series. India has a very long history of being second best in away series and relying on exceptional performances from 1-2 people to keep them competitive.Indian media have been busy gushing about individual performances of Bumrah and Nitish without realizing we've been second best for most of the series, not just this game
You’ve been hacked!Nah I genuinely wanted a big swan song from him this tour. Been a great player.
You're trying to compare innings where he did well with one that hadn't happened yet.You gotta name me more important innings in the context of the match situation and the series.
I can't think of many and I think I've probably watched at least 90% of his test innings through his career. Melbourne in 2014 when he came in with no runs and his 50 odd helped save the game? His 230 was pretty great too against England since it wasn't great for India when he came in, but I feel they probably would have won that game regardless. This one is up there in terms of what the team needed.
