All 3 of them have their weaknesses though. Sehwag was useless in any conditions that gave the slightest hint of swing or help to the new ball and Hayden was not effective vs elite bowlers or until the pitches flattened out.
don't particularly rate Sehwag or Hayden highly. these three and Cook for me are all about the same level of batters who are very good and even great but are so obviously and clearly flawed. Sehwag was a tailender against quality apace, Hayden was a #7 against quality pace, Cook always struggled with a tall pacer who could move the ball and Smith has struggled with high/uneven bounce and spin a lot imo. I don't mind any order among them as long as Sehwag is last, personally.

Tbf I don’t think Smith is rated as an ATG. He’s just rated as a very good player like Boycott and Greenidge.
Boycott destroys Smith, Greenidge also feel like is clearly better, they batted in much tougher eras and for longer and had records just as good if not better.

I can fully concur.

I genuinely can't and don't rate Sehwag though.
