Whatever it takes!!!
Did anyone who has actually watched cricket actually think appointing Gambhir was a good thing?
Honestly, I wont have minded this if he was appointed as the white ball coach and we found a way to continue Dravid for the red ball. And I think Dravid is way overrated as a coach and as a strategist.

Maybe Shaz for red ball and Gau for white ball.

And yes the fact that Marsh has only bowled two overs today just adds to the disgrace of his continued selection. We're basically playing him as a specialist fielder at this point.
He should be expected to bowl 10-15 tomorrow even at half rat power. If he breaks down so be it. He can’t be picked for Melbourne the way he is now anyway

Yeah honestly, with Dravid I'm just happy he isn't a proven liar like Tendulkar. It's his best quality

Bring Lyon on at the other end and tell him to bowl slow and wide. Massive square boundaries should create at least one opportunity.

This is a slight overreaction lol, this game is 90% dead anyway.
It's still pretty dire bowling, an a 20% chance of a win (if the rain somehow mostly stays away tomorrow) is still better than a 1%.

This is a better over, though perhaps not for a #11 lol

He's not a like for like replacement for Green. At his peak Green was the closest there was all round wise to Kallis, since Kallis retired. Green was consistently moving the ball at 130kph plus. Batters get no break to score.

Marsh doesn't have the confidence of the captain to be bowled even. He's injury prone
He's not Green he's not Kallis but he's been picked to bowl. Get him on to bowl.. If only to spare the legs of those who can.

Hazelwood, who could only bowl a few overs, is a selection risk. Somehow passed as fit here..!?. I think next year, if he's fit, the Ashes will be his last series, basically mid 30s the expiration date of most bowlers.
