BCCI is the real culprit behind India's cricket disaster. Those idiots are only concerned with raking in IPL cash. They've completely neglected the development of proper test batsmen and fast bowlers in domestic cricket.

We're stuck with useless players like Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, and Sarfaraz Khan, who are nothing but mediocre domestic statisticsians. The Ranji Trophy is a joke, filled with crap bowlers and batsmen playing for endless number of teams. It's a complete farce.
Australia's domestic cricket system is the gold standard. They focus on players who can perform under pressure and win matches single-handedly.

Time to boot out Rohit Sharma, the worst Test captain ever, along with the likes of Gill, Siraj, and other mediocre players. And for God's sake, stop investing in domestic paper lions like Avesh Khan, Prasidh Krishna, and Sarfaraz Khan.

Get rid of political dogshits from BCCI and replace them with competent people who actually care about Indian cricket. And please, for the love of cricket, don't appoint clowns like Agarkar as selectors.

Probably true. Profit over quality is happening everywhere, because of rich elites or top ranked people. Only interested in lining their wallets.

Listen, to give you guys credit, I think McGrath was an absolute titan with the ball. I could see how someone could pick him as the best or second best. Unbelievably threatening, consistent and miserly.

I've just seen too many 90s greats, from all nations, talk about how mesmerised they were when facing Wasim, and rating him the clear best in their eyes. I'll take their word for it.
I mean, mesmerised because he could do things that they couldn’t do.

Doesn’t mean those are the most effective or best things to do. If they were, it would have shown.

A lot of people take aesthetics into account (whether consciously or unconsciously) far too much imo.

tbf, “best you’ve ever seen” could easily translate that way, or even as best to watch.

I think the sport of cricket brings with it the element of aesthetics, the poetry of the game, aura of a player etc. When you think of people like Richie Benaud, Ian Chappell and Shane Warne talking about the cricketers they rate the highest, this is what they were thinking of. That's why Warne rated Mark Waugh over Steve Waugh. He valued aesthetics over 'effectiveness'.

McGrath was extremely effective playing in a great team that usually scored massive totals, and usually took their catches, sure.

We might as well quit playing cricket completely going by your assertions, this is the best that we have.

India should fly over the B team, plus KL Rahul and Bumrah. Can't possibly be any worse. Even Shami even if his knees balloon up after two spells. Might get more out of the two spells than these guys.

I watched this video randomly on a weed gummy 2 nights ago

Sometimes I feel like I get omens from God when high.

I think God made me watch that video just so I could troll Burgery today.

That was one of my more severe mental illness symptoms when I used to smoke a lot. Omens was the word I used to doctors lol. Does it weird you out? Sounds like it amuses you lol

If the online hourly forecast is correct, we should get a dry first session (except my tears) and then rain the rest of the way. India need to hold on for dear life. Getting out to a bad shot means you lose your IPL contract, Bumrah is the only one exempt from this. Make it happen.
