Return of Jota so desperately needed. Robertson has become a massive liability, continually makes errors that cost us so probably need to address LB in January if we want to win the league.

TAA has checked out, that was one of his worst performances in an LFC jersey. Doesn't look at all interested.

Take the point considering we were behind twice but momentum has really stalled since Konate's injury. I'm looking forward to Gomez at LB again but Quansah CB fills me with no confidence. It's going to be a bumpy few weeks for us.

Elsewhere... Southgate to be knighted  is it any wonder England doesn't win trophies when they reward mediocrity with honours such as this one.

Edit: forgot to mention Gravenberch. What a player. CB, RB,10, CM, CDM he played about 5-6 positions and was fantastic in all of them. Closest thing I've seen to a Gerrard performance. Easy MOTM

If you're right, that has to be one of the most damning comments on a professional footballer that I've ever read given the circumstances of the club that he's playing for.

Looks like Crystal Palace arr grinding their way to mid table safety.
That's looking the likeliest outcome right now. :)

A combination of the new players settling in, and the manager accepting that messing up the system by bringing in Nketiah to play as as a second forward alongside Mateta was perhaps not the best idea.

But January could still change things for the worse if Guehi and Eze move on, so we'll see.

Unfortunately most fans are resigned to him leaving at this point.

It's going to get pretty ugly I think

Russell Martin has been shown the door. Too late perhaps to save the saints.
Won’t make much difference. Yes they’ll perhaps stop the calamitous style of play, but they’re still a Championship team and they’ll probably get a manager of less use for next season.

Chelsea have quietly not been a shambles this season and they've actually stocked loads of really good young players.
They’ve probably got the best overall squad now and are well set for the future, just needed a manager to work out the best XI. It’s hard not to see them maintaining their challenge.

Always disheartening and saddening to see them doing well. Hopefully it won't last.
Yeah it is especially annoying as having spent a billion pounds they should be at least this good but because they were rubbish for a while it is seen as some great achievement.

They were actually pretty good the second half of last season as well.
Yep, I think due to the 5-0 beating they got from Arsenal a few days after the cup final they should have won , people slept on how they were improving.

Curious to know what people think of Nunez here? I don't watch as many Liverpool games as others, but do think he's just not good enough for a side who wants to challenge for the elite trophies in football.

I've been supportive of Darwin, he showed glimpses early on and even last season there were signs he was starting to improve. I had doubts he would fit the Slot system and those have proven to be correct despite his contributions off the ball (his work rate is still very good). All that said, I reached the end of my patience in the Girona game. He misses way too many chances.

I don't think he's a bad player and very good chance he goes on to be useful for another European club but I am firmly of the view he's a hinderance on this team and has no future at LFC.

I'd take whatever we can get for him in January and move on.

You could see last season they had signed some good players just the squad was so unbalanced it was unreal.

A few additions and a good manager has brought them on rapidly, possibly faster than even anyone at Chelsea expected. If they fade away I hope they don't blame the manager and make a daft decision.
