I think not.

I don't entirely understand why we don't yet have immediate in-game penalties for time wasting (both for batters and bowlers). an match fee deduction for the captain after the match is already over is a weird punishment for something which directly impacts the flow of a time-restricted game.

Some really good stuff at times past the edge, some good opening batting on show where NZ have left well and earned a bit of fo, and a little inconsistency from England - a fraction short for me and not enough hitting off stump.

Another good start for Young where he didn't go on with it, that was a good ball from Atkinson though, it moved just enough to catch the edge.

You would still take a 42 from Young batting through the first session than a cooked Conway playing a scratchy knock and getting out early on.
