Voted Wasim. Both were geniuses but I kinda feel like Wasims bowling and Lara’s batting could offset each other plus Wasim was a decent lower order batsman.

Will always maintain he was the best batsman I've ever seen, had a certain level of genius I've never seen replicated.

I do not think he is underrated - There are only 3-4 batsmen who are “arguably” better than him in the last 80 years of test cricket.

I wouldn't call Lara's batting style "effortless"; not with that high backlift and flourish, he seemed very alert to possibilities. Stylish beyond compare, but not effortless. Just me though.
