Both top 5 (The Master 4, Pigeon 5) players of all time in my rankings and obviously two of the greatest ever.
Hobbs was the first great of the test game and dominated to a possibly greater extent than Bradman did, and in way more difficult conditions.
McGrath imo was half of one of the 4 great phenomenons of the test game. He took an admittedly great team, but made it one of the two best ever. He dominated in the flat pitches era and just kept going. Had a knack for dismissing top order, and the opposing team's best batsmen and arguably the most accurate bowler ever.
Hobbs has a very good argument here, but it shouldn't be nearly this lopsided.
