O'Rourke is great at bowling that nasty awkward length, only Brook looks like he can handle it and even then it has caused him a few problems.

Brook has not looked like he can handle it. Brook and Pope will both be eaten alive in Australia.

Root can handle this type of bowling. No one else in the England line up can.

Brook has batted a lot better in this series so far than Root, he has had some luck but he's batted brilliantly in between the drops and the air swings.

I don't see any reason why he can't do the same in Australia next summer, he's getting better as a test batsman while Root is starting to decline now.

2 innings isn't really indicative of a decline, Brook has outplayed Root this series though, this series kind of has been a sort of coming of age for him, where team is constantly struggling and the best batter has messed up but he has stood up, very important for his career

lmao, Brook making poor Woakes face pacers every over after the first ball
Woakes is no mug even though he has looked like one so far today and now Southee is playing him into form by allowing him to hit a couple of fours.
