James Anderson, the English bowler, first joined the team bowling at 90 miles per hour(mph). Some thought he could bowl even faster if he changed his action, but he got injured after doing so and didn't bowl well for a year.


Anderson is the first pace bowler to take 700 Test wickets. He's third on the all-time list of wicket-takers in Tests, behind Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne
