England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

Obviously a super innings for a 9 but it felt like he had these guys absolutely on the ropes and we could have milked 3-4 an over for a good while longer.

This is a very decent pitch and every run in the lead will be needed.

So if 7 of your 11 batsmen give their wickets away, and you drop 7 regulation chances, how do you expect to win a test match?

Just has been a pathetic display from this team.

Multiple opportunities to take control of the match and instead we've basically gifted England a test match win. So so poor.

Scotty is a terrible commentator, but just as annoying is the audible grunting and exclamations from the back of the commentary box whenever a big shot is played. It’s like McMillan and others have to continuously let everyone know they are there in the vicinity. Unprofessional. Only seems to happen in NZ.

Bummed he just missed out on the 50 there but can't criticise the #9 storming in and taking the game away like that
Well you can he's done the hard job then a few more overs till lunch and he can put his feet up and go again.

If he was Bashir doing that then yeah. But he's more than capable.

We just seem allergic to trying to kill teams off. It's a good pitch and many runs for Brook and Gus left out there and both gave their wickets away.
