Colin Croft didn't hold back here in this article about Shamar Joseph,

Anyway, so, now, after everything in the last five or six months, Shamar Joseph, whose cricketing future had been lauded by all, including me, late in 2023 and in early 2024, has now, already, been dropped and almost nearly fully relegated.

Also, he wants him under his wing,

What is wrong with this picture??
This facade does not look good for the young man.
Shamar Joseph needs severe cricketing help right now. Right now!!
He might even need some psychological profiling and “clearing out processes” now too.
Colin Croft, experienced and fully qualified as a Coach, is always available, if “the powers-that-be” are serious and honest.

Everyone knows how and where to find me if / when they need to do so.
So, I am not that surprised, but I am very seriously disappointed, at the precipitous downward slide of a fast bowling cricketer with so much natural talent.

Shamar Joseph’s future in cricket could already be at the crossroads!

All a bit hysterical. He's just not a very good white ball bowler yet. If he was dropped from the Test squad it'd justify that sort of dramatic reaction more.

It was OTT, there’s much to learn for a bowler like him. Focus on the red ball stuff and not get dismayed by getting licks in curry goat cricket.

That's probably a better top 7 than the current test team.
You’re not wrong, I would take my chances and throw these guys into it and let them go through the motions.

Kraigg is currently approaching 100 tests and he’ll be the worst to get there (currently it’s Carl Hooper, but we’d kill for a cricketer of Carl’s pedigree atm.)

I love this little peanut,

Rutherford struck seven fours and eight sixes as he went from 19 off 29 balls in the 32nd over to score a further 94 runs in 51 balls. He now has five consecutive 50-plus scores in ODIs, becoming the fourth West Indian after Gordon Greenidge, Chris Gayle and Shai Hope, who have six in a row each, to achieve this feat.

Is Teddy Bishop part-Indian?

For that matter, is Brandon King?

Both look like they have South Asian features to go with black/Anglo surnames. I'm guessing they're mixed race.

I have no idea what their ancestry is, but I am certain that they are mixed race.

The names are a result of English colonialism...and religion to an extent.
