2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

Of course now Bancroft remembers how to bat

Only saw his innings up until about 24ish, but he certainly looked pretty ropey early, head falling across a long way. That being said however, fair play to him for being able to survive that

Kellaway has looked really quite good so far this innings from what I have seen, played a few more shots than usual but hasn't been reckless about it

Very irritating that we can never seem get more than one good season in a row from a potentially promising player.
This one doesn't really surprise me and frankly I think a patch of leaner returns might be good for him in the long run. He needs to learn that he can't just bat however he likes, when his form dips a bit he needs to be more thoughtful about his shot selection. He still looks plenty talented but his dismissals this summer have been rank awful.

Kind of surprised it took the Vics as long as it did to drop Chandraisngha. He looked terrible the few times I saw him this year.

Yeah he was struggling, still doesn't have the scoring options for this level honestly

Although judging by the fact that Jono Merlo opened for them a couple of games back, it doesn't exactly seem like the Vics are flush with depth up top
