To think that one JAMODI ruined the career of a potential ATG. Urgh.
Was hoping he might be fit for the later part of the test series, and he started off brilliantly. So frustrating it's such a silly cause as he clearly needs to protect his shoulder at all costs. And it's not even his shoulder that's been causing the issues recently, it's been a hamstring problem.

Jeez it would be nice if someone taught Morris to angle the seam for the outswinger. He doesn't get much seam movement so it could make him a lot more dangerous if he can control it.

Richardson seems to have eschewed trying to swing the ball, especially away, since coming back.

Olonga: 'the great team of the late 90s/early 00s, McGrath, Waugh, Kasprowicz'. One of those things is not like the other two, and I don't mean Waugh being a batsman.

That series brings back some less than happy memories but I think that remains the best English team I've seen. I'd forgotten that celebrations were a low key affair and I wonder when the exuberant celebrations became a thing.
I think Lillee might have been the first to make a song and dance of it but I feel like the ridiculously over the top ones are significantly more recent.
