If you don't believe India's improvement in cricket over the last two decades is tied to India's economic growth, what can I say?Imagine India's GDP by then!
The initial Chinese rise in swimming had a bit to do with them suddenly chugging their swimmers full of elephant juice iircIf you don't believe India's improvement in cricket over the last two decades is tied to India's economic growth, what can I say?
I think people from first world countries really underestimate how fast 6-7% economic growth is and it's implications - Like that Chinese now winning in swimming and breaking records
I mean like @Burgey said, the way he's batting he'll probably keep bowling longer than you expect.Don't need to try anything against Marnus' bouncer barrage. Most of them are harmless and he'll get tired after 3 overs anyways. It's not like Wagner who'll do it all day.
That's true but the correlation is not always there. NZ was the world's 2nd richest country in the 1950s and had the world's worst test cricket team. We are comparatively much worse off, yet our cricket team is much stronger. If you don't believe India's improvement in cricket over the last two decades is tied to India's economic growth, what can I say?

Need to manage the main quicks and don't rate Marsh. Cam Green is a massive loss. What is Aus doing, why are they bowling Marnus.
Probably China and swimming is not the best example; but absolutely there is zero doubt that the GDP growth is very much tied to improvement in access. People don't realize that for a significant portion of Indian history, cricket players basically came from the upper classes in Mumbai. As more and more people are moved into the middle and upper middle class; and more importantly the proliferation of equipment, coaching and access further and further out in India - this is changing. But even now, the access is nowhere near it is in other developed countries. If you don't believe India's improvement in cricket over the last two decades is tied to India's economic growth, what can I say?

Population is also a thing. That's true but the correlation is not always there. NZ was the world's 2nd richest country in the 1950s and had the world's worst test cricket team. We are comparatively much worse off, yet our cricket team is much stronger.
And yet Padikkal is giving him maidensLyon looks no better than Rahkeem at the moment...
