A lot of talk about India batting first but there's been very little to suggest that wasn't the right thing to do tbh. This is already looking a lot more docile.

Yeah that's what made Skull's commentary so ridiculous. Rishabh was criticised but he had an actual record to fall back on. JFM... doesn't.
I dunno whether these guys are jingoistic or asked to be cheerleaders, but surely Skull doesn't buy into that comparison.

In other news, Nitish looks a pretty organised player

Skull absolutely sincerely believes JFM is that level of player

i mean, i don't recall Kerry O'Keefe as being some sort of master scout tbh. His opinion doesn't carry much weight at all imo

Bhogle has sounded like he's been in a tomb all day, but now there's been a couple of reverse sweeps he's back to being his usual late-night-mozzie-in-your-ear level of imbecility.

Would have made a lot more sense (while still a bit of a stretch) if he had have used someone like Davies as an example. Someone, who while sometimes prone to playing one shot too many, has actually had something resembling genuine success with those methods.

But JFM, yeah not even close
