Relatively speaking, Border's home record is rather lack luster by ATG standards. 40 odd vs England and 36 odd vs WI at home.
I mean vs WI he did one of the best attacks ever, so 36 is decent. And he had an amazing series vs Holding and Garner(both were operating at peak)+ Roberts in 1981

He did, he had more than his moments and 81 is ATG; but overall 36 vs them over a big stretch of time and some 15 matches is just decent. It's imo his only caveat in otherwise perfect record.

Border had his issues v WI on the quicker pitches (Brisbane/Perth/Barbados etc) and an overall RPI below 40 at home.

Less important point because I think he was solid against it but the standard of spinners wasn't great in his time too.
