**Official** 1st Test @ Perth, 22nd-26th November

Thala_0710

State 12th Man
Current word from the secret camp is Rahul has an injured elbow batting and Gill has a fractured thumb fielding at slip
Gill is almost definitely out for the first test and is likely to be out for the second as well, with Padikkal being the likely replacement in the squad. Rahul has recovered from the injury well and with Easwaran's disappointing performances in the A games and match simulation, Rahul is likely to open with Jaiswal if Rohit isn't there

thala’s lineup seems the likeliest imo but who knows. Maybe they shuffle the order to keep Kohli away from the new ball. Sarfaraz may be on thin ice as well if he has visible issues with the bounce.

Actually reports of Reddy making his debut are also coming now. So that means Reddy for Sundar in my line up. All the people saying there's gonna be 9 mm of grass on the pitch, seems to have affected the decision

Good challenge for a captain to come in with no practice in Australian conditions and already 0-1 down in the series 😉

There are also talks of Rana debuting at Perth. Apparently he has impressed massively in practice and the simulation games, which would mean one of Akashdeep/Siraj would be dropped
