I agree with you on this performance but SA did just make a T20 final. Also, situations like this expose the fact that David Miller doesn't play FC cricket. Doesn't look like he has a plan against a swinging ball.
They did with only two conclusive wins - the opener and the semifinal. They were going life and death with pretty much everyone else.

Mental, innit? Last I saw a ball hoop like that was when Zimbabwe's John Rennie had a brief spurt in the '97 triangular in SA. Maybe Pak's Aamir Nazir in the Windies on the '93/'94 tour. Anderson in Eng regularly too I guess but who cares abt him.

Oh 100%, I just don't think it will cause reflection with the higher ups because the team still made the final, therefore they made the right call with their priorities.
