*Official* India in South Africa for T20s

Kenneth Viljoen

International Regular
Tilak was playing for his 100 that's why India missed out on 300 which seems insane to say lol but the last few balls he was just looking for singles

"When Lance Cairns hit 6 sixes in an innings at the MCG against Australia in an ODI it entered folklore because that kind of power hitting was such a rarity. Nowadays somebody hits a 6 in the ‘hit and giggle’ slogfest that is T20 and the response is “meh”. Everybody is smashing 6’s, constantly, all the time. There is no longer any sense of awe around ‘power hitting’, and the expressions on the batsmens faces mirror the utter banality of T20 slogging. A 6 will be smashed, the batsman will continue to chew gum and look bored. Only the disingenuous commentary teams continue will the ADHD infused charade of acting like they’ve just witnessed something utterly extraordinary as the ball sails into the stands for the umpteenth time. T20 has a problem now: attention spans. Will endless monotonous slogging continue to hold peoples interest, or will the matchless drama that is test cricket make a timely resurgence as cricket loving people gravitate away from the mindnumbing slogfest dross."- @Skyliner
