I would pick the Aus one over it tbhThat was the best out there. The only comparable away tours by Indians are Amarnath in '83 WI, Dravid in '11 Eng and maybe Sunny in '78 Eng.

Tendulkar 2010-11 South Africa? That was the best out there. The only comparable away tours by Indians are Amarnath in '83 WI, Dravid in '11 Eng and maybe Sunny in '78 Eng.
Aus one had a fair few roads. The level of batting displayed in the SA one was just superior.I would pick the Aus one over it tbh
Close, but 2018 Kohli is ahead for me.Tendulkar 2010-11 South Africa?
I agree that the conditions were much tougher in SA, but still the AUS one had 4 hundreds with 2 fifties with the iconic Adelaide performance. In 2018, Kohli doesn't do much first game, has an ATG innings of 153 in the second match and then in third played 2 very good innings in the toughest conditions in the series. So it's basically 3/6 inns of a very high level.Aus one had a fair few roads. The level of batting displayed in the SA one was just superior.
Can understand the reasoning, but I just think in the last 2 matches Kohli batted otherworldly well. From a technical point, some of the very best out there.I agree that the conditions were much tougher in SA, but still the AUS one had 4 hundreds with 2 fifties with the iconic Adelaide performance. I'll still go AUS 2014
This I would agree with. 2018 Kohli is the best version of Kohli I've ever seen from a technical standpointCan understand the reasoning, but I just think in the last 2 matches Kohli batted otherworldly well. From a technical point, some of the very best out there.
Waugh/Ponting?I wonder what the top 5 visiting batters in South Africa look like, think it looks like Kohli/Tendulkar/Hobbs/Harvey/Warner maybe?
Waugh for Warner, Ponting *sigh* close.I wonder what the top 5 visiting batters in South Africa look like, think it looks like Kohli/Tendulkar/Hobbs/Harvey/Warner maybe?
Oh Yeah, probably Waugh gets in instead of Warner, Ponting has a good argument tooWaugh/Ponting?
I'll find a way to replace him with Root dw, or HammondWaugh for Warner, Ponting *sigh* close.
