Justin Greaves with another score past 50. He is still in there with Mikyle Louis as the Leewards look to make a big score against the Barbados Pride.

Leeward Islands Hurricanes 119/0 (23)

Young Wickham with a match-winning century (his maiden ton in List A cricket) to trump Greaves's,

118 off 103 balls with 11x4 and 3x6

So far in this competition, there's been more centuries scored than 5-wicket hauls.

We (Guyana Harpy Eagles) made a below par score of 203 against the Pride.

In reply, the Ashmead Nedd have taken both of the Bajan wickets to fall.

45/2 in the 8th over.

Guess who made a century today in the Super50?

Justin Greaves.

151* (129), with 13 fours as he led his team in this chase of 292 set by the Red Force.

His last 3 innings in this tournament,

October 30th against the West Indies Academy- 111* (117), 9x4, 1x6
November 1st against Barbados Pride- 112 (131), 9x4
November 3rd against the TT Red Force- 151* (129), 13x4

This is remarkable in our domestic scene. Guy's hungry af

He started his career as an opening bowler who batted 8 so it's not really so surprisingly he played so many games without a ton, but yeah he's really banging down the door now.

It's a shame he's so rarely properly fit to bowl these days.

He played some good innings in the CPL and I think that form has transformed over to this competition. Something tells me that he's worked on his batting massively. To get these results.

He's bowled in all 3 of the matches that he's played in this competition.

BIG NEWS:

West Indies to play Tests after 20 years

A total of 15 women's Tests have been included in this cycle, with West Indies set to return to the format after more than 20 years. They host Australia for one Test as part of a multi-format series in March 2026, play England in another at home in April 2027, and will play a Test in South Africa in December 2028.

West Indies last played a Test in 2003-04, against Pakistan, and have only played 12 women's Tests in all. India, meanwhile, will play Australia and South Africa in away Tests in 2026, while also hosting Australia and England later in the cycle.

Having toured Australia for what was only their second women's Test in nearly a decade, South Africa will host Australia for a Test for the first time in March-April 2027. The new FTP concludes in 2029 with the ODI World Cup, the venue for which is yet to be announced.

Bishop gives his two cents on the Justin Greaves performances:

It is also good that he is highlighting some of the youths in the academy team.

Joshua Bishop is a good all-rounder. Him being an SLA makes him a few places below Motie. But if he can work on his game and deliver more performances, you never know. Also, this improves the quality of our depth chart.

Motie is our highest rated ODI bowler at the moment- 15th in the world with a rating of 603.

In the batting side of things, Shai Hope is 12th in the world with a rating of 666 in the batting. Lewis has been among the runs recently since his comeback to the team, 75th (463) KC with a career-high 85th after that unbeaten century in the 3rd ODI, right behind him at 85th (455) is Sherfane at 86th (453). Also, Brandon King- 95th (428)

Colin Croft didn't hold back here in this article about Shamar Joseph,

Anyway, so, now, after everything in the last five or six months, Shamar Joseph, whose cricketing future had been lauded by all, including me, late in 2023 and in early 2024, has now, already, been dropped and almost nearly fully relegated.

Also, he wants him under his wing,

What is wrong with this picture??
This facade does not look good for the young man.
Shamar Joseph needs severe cricketing help right now. Right now!!
He might even need some psychological profiling and “clearing out processes” now too.
Colin Croft, experienced and fully qualified as a Coach, is always available, if “the powers-that-be” are serious and honest.

Everyone knows how and where to find me if / when they need to do so.
So, I am not that surprised, but I am very seriously disappointed, at the precipitous downward slide of a fast bowling cricketer with so much natural talent.

Shamar Joseph’s future in cricket could already be at the crossroads!
