Only 25 overs in that session, pretty pathetic overrate from Bangladesh with all their spinners in action , we will lose play to bad light later in the 3rd session
At this stage, Bangladesh have no need to rush the game. It's the umpires who need to put pressure on the bowlers to get through the overs and not waste time. But it difficult when 25 overs in a session is pretty normal nowadays.

What slowed down the over rate? Was hardly a review in sight. Shanto was down holding his knee for a bit but that was it, other than the time consumed by leather having to be fetched

As a spinner you can normally get through your over pretty fast, Bangladesh have been taking their time. Nothing egregious. But simply not rushing. And they have no need or desire to.

I thought they might have given Muthusamy a chance to get his century too. He was striking at 93, so might not haven taken him too long to get there. Then again, light was an issue yesterday, so waiting for him to do it would eat into the time available to have a crack at Bangladesh.
