If there's one thing I've seen from him in his short career is that he will play his shots no matter what. Guess it's a method that has got him this far but I hope he learns to knuckle down a bit more.
There is an underlying arrogance in his play still I'm not sure I 100% like. Almost Pietersen like. I personally prefer my best players to be understated.

It's passages of play like this that highlight why you need to go big when set. Im looking at you Markram and Bedingham...
Another disappointing aspect is that Taijul Islam is comfortably Bangladeshi's most threatening bowler in this innings , why not just see him off .

Hero of the first test for South Africa follows up with a duck on what appears to be a batting paradise.
Funny old game is cricket which is why we love it so much I guess.

Miraz so innocuous again today. His bowling on unhelpful decks has always lacked threat, but I'd hoped he'd have got better by now after 8 years as a test cricketer. I think he'll be a world class spinner by his late 20s/early 30s but we're just going to have to wait.

I think it's his action. Not much pivot and slow through the crease. He spins the ball a bit more against lefties because he has to go across himself. Against right handers he gets little drift, doesn't spin it enough to threaten the inside edge and doesn't bowl close enough to the stumps to threaten the outside edge.

Only 25 overs in that session, pretty pathetic overrate from Bangladesh with all their spinners in action , we will lose play to bad light later in the 3rd session
