This is the worst run Pakistan side in at least a decade or so.

That is saying something.

I honestly don't think any batsman in the side other than Babar and Rizwan have merited places in the side. I believe all of the rest are only in from favors and kowtowing in one form or another .

The recent decision to drop all the most meritous players in the Pakistan team was clearly designed to send a message by the controlling faction. We're in charge, we operate with impunity, now step in line. Obvious decision for Kirsten to step aside from such a toxic setup. Hope Gillespie does the same as well.
