Far to often we don't have the ruthlessness to make the hard runs. Inability to re-evaluate the match situation.
We just continue with intent rather than rethinking and going well it's now easier to bat let's make hay while the sun shines.

For all the criticism Bash got in first 2 tests he has bowled much better today. In fact Leach the weak link so far this test on what I've seen.

Because he's got no variety, just balls the same ball again and again.
Which was a strength on the previous pitches where needed to be consistent and a negative for Bashir.
Then the opposite here where it's been about putting it in places where Leach doesn't
It's why they want Bash as their main spinner over than him. Because he bowls a far better attacking line and varies it, which will be more effective at home and they hope Australia.
Saw someone say Bashir best ball is better than Leach, but the other 5 are inconsistent and worse than Leach.
But Bashir surely can improve his consistency. Leach isn't going to become a better player than he is.
