But he's bowling first change! He's not being used as a peripheral 5th bowler. At least so far.
Right, I guess it’s fair to say he’s been picked as the 5th bowler/one of the frontline spinners, but he’s in the team mainly because of his batting? Semantics anyways.

Look I'm sure they've practiced this and what not but surely there's little to no chance that short gully position is catching anything but the loopiest of loopy catches when he's literally on his knees.

A jinx, but I only caught the coverage from about the 11th over where one ripped hard past Conway's offstump, and the turn since then does not seem to have been as pronounced as that.

... and Young almost edges a straight one.

Amazing awareness from Sarfraz. Young should be kicking himself though, can't be giving away wickets to deliveries like that.

One good review for India and now one bad one.

Sarfaraz should be in charge of India's reviews.
I'm sure I remember Rohit not listening to Sarfaraz on a review against England that turned out to be out.

Not that it mattered in the end as we will have lost the game. But a lack of respect for the bloke definitely!

A bit surprised Jurel hasn't just been picked here as a specialist keeper. Pant does not look comfortable behind the stumps at all.
