I saw a tv report years ago showing they use the same soil as the WACA pitch to make it as similar as possible. it's not quite the same but the WACA will still give India some valuable practice with the pace and bounce of the pitch.

Pathetic. Should be dishing up low turners for the practice matches then unleashing 80s Gabba abd WACA deckjs for the tests. Basically treat them as shittily as they do every touring side.

Most likely otherwise they would hace selected for india A team .

BCCI is not looking for them , Yash Dayal , Mukesh Kumar , Navdeep saini , Nitish Reddy ( AR) etc are back-up pacers for them .

He actually batted an hour to save a game yesterday. And he has been picking 2 or 3 fers almost every innings. And is one of the taller bowlers we have and does get good bounce because of that. At decent pace of 135-145 kph. He is not bad at all as a 5th or 6th seamer.

Nah ,Without playing any first class cricket prior to BGT ,BCCI won't select them . They will be selected for South Africa T20 series.
