I think bksp and HP are two different ones. Bksp is more like housing for students where there are schools for general education and facilities to learn cricket. Shakib and Mushfiq came from bksp. HP is more like a camp with selected players from all over BD. HP got international level coaches like Jamie Siddons. Just yesterday I read about another sporting complex which is undergoing construction named PKSP. Its like Bksp. It has housing for students and schools. The area got two stadiums and one indoor facilities. There are total 48 pitches in the complex. It got pitches with green turf, pure batting wickets and also spinning tracks.

I know BSKP is a school but I've read Isam articles about how guys like Litton, Taskin etc have been training there and working with local coaches so that's where I'm confused.

They showed the construction at pksp during one of the tests. I'm quietly excited about what that's going to do for us. Sounds like there's going to be different pitches that replicate different conditions.

Havent been following BPL closely this time. Good to see Towhid Hridoy as top run scorer so far. Played a smashing innings in the Final Qualifier. Tremendous bat speed.

I think I was right about dropping Mahmudullah forever when we had the best chance before last odi world cup. I know I made a post that I was wrong but thinking about it now, it wouldnt have been the worst decision. We dont need a player who plays for consolation and for himself. One might be skilled but I'd rather select a player who plays for the team. Mahmudullah always played for himself. Just look at the celebration after getting a century against SA in mumbai (ODI WC) when BD lost by about 150 runs! How do you celebrate
that when your team is losing by such huge margin? Goes to show the mentality. I'll quote some other matches why hes absolute brain dead in crunch situations-

- Asia cup final 2012 against Pakistan- He went to non striker end and exposed tail only to lose

- T20 WC 2016- tried to hit a six and losing by 1 run at the end

- T20 WC 2021- 4 off 1 from Dre Russell, unable and plays a dot

- T20 WC 2024- 43 from 19 balls for SF qualification and he played 6 from 9 deliveries

The corruption in bcb under Papon's tenure has been mind boggling. Yesterday Sohan came out and revealed how money disappears from Jersey budget even. The cricketers did not receive any money from the last t20 wc till now although the prize money already given to bcb from icc. Who knows how much going into the pockets of the so called board of directors and esp Papon.

Now that Papon is removed from the Sports Minister position and government changed, hes still president of bcb. He went into hiding from August 5 when the government collapsed. Our new Sports Advisor can't remove him from this position due one of the ICC rules that SLC was banned previously. And Papon is not resigning even.

John Wright pulled up Viru by the collar once, famously. They all seem to get along well and Viru still says he was the best coach he played under. And so do almost all of the class of 2001 or so.

I would like to know what sort of assault this was. But yeah, any sort of physicality probably should not be encouraged. Faruque clearly had a pre-existing problem with Hathura so I'm sceptical.
