England are essentially playing 12 tests over barely 5 months. If you think of the West Indies series that started in Mid-July that's a heck of a lot of cricket in a short period of time. There was hardly a break between Windies/SL and they barely had any time after the SL series before landing in Pakistan. There was criticism over the lack of a warm-up game, but how the blazes do you fit one in given the circumstances. They barely finish in Pak and they are off to NZ. I reckon a fairly easy 2-0 win for NZ is inevitable given this.

It'll be a rarity if it stays that way. One prior instance of 1 maiden in 70+ overs and one instance of a completely maidenless such team effort, which turned out to be in the infamous 'catch the boat home' test of 1939.
That said I expect quite a few innings would have one or no maidens at this stage, before gathering a few more when the tailenders come in.

Yes you are right all asian pitches are not same Pak pitches are roads with nothing for bowlers while indian/sl pitches have something for bowlers esp spinners

Since pak pitches are ultra flat they need express pace and little bit of extra zip to get wickets thats why pak produce so many pacers and leg spinners while india and sl have so many off spinners since there is some hel from the pitch
