Very close. Pollock with a bit of the Ambrose conservatism towards the end: didn't pick up many big hauls but didn't give away many runs either. But a South African seamer with a home SR of 52 has to come a rung below an Indian spinner with a home SR of 45. Ashwin's away record the caveat as always, but I don't mind that so much vis-a-vis Pollock if he continues wreaking havoc at home this late into his career.

OFC Ashwin's batting is soft. It's still super valuable. He's much closer to a Botham or Imran than he is to a specialist bowler.
