Sehwag and it is not close.

That 200 in Sri Lanka when everyone was falling around on a turning pitch was not something anyone ever did.

Lara really is just a vibes vote here.
Tf it is. He literally destroyed Murali at/near his peak in his own backyard. And prior to that he smacked Warne around so much, that he got dropped for the first time in his career. I agree that Sehwag is the better player of spin but voting for Lara is not the worst thing on the world. Let it go son....

Its sad seeing salty living in denail over simple voting like this.
I get that it's a public forum and everyone is entitled to their opinion but at this point it's getting a bit tedious. Imagine someone saying " Hey Sachin was great vs pace." But me rebuttal by saying: " Well Sachin had trouble with Cronje or Brian McMillan so he's not up there with the best." Smh

Saqlain and Kumble aren't Cronje and McMillan.

I didn't bring Raju.
One of the main bowlers brought in by Migara against Lara...... He played Kumble in only one Test series and I don't think really did too poor. Yes, he said he had problems against Kumble. But doesn't means like he was smh bad against him. For context, I was reading an article by Sehwag, on batting against Murali in a match. He was talking about how he couldn't understood Murali's variations, asked Sachin for adviced and how that advice of reading hands or looking at shine did him no good...... Doesn't means he was poor against him really.

Sure not saying Lara was poor against any spinner but didn't dominate those ones.

Sehwag is a bit better than Lara. My vibes comment was more because the best spin player title just feels more comfy on Lara.

Most of people would agree that there had been players who were better than Tendulkar against pace. They just happened to be pretty below him against spin. So no one is bringing the argument "Sachin is so good against pace than Viv Richards" despite Richards struggling almost against no pacer.
