Keyword here.True but doesn't make much sense in a comparison with Lyon tbh. If Lyon was Indian he wouldn't have made it through Ranji imo much less be undroppable for his country.
I’m sure some weren’t being dropped. The majority were.are we sure he was "dropped" for all?

Makes no sense given Lyon literally came out of nowhere though. And Ash's batting would have ensured selection anyways given you were trotting out Cameron White and Steve Smith as your 1 test spinner in the 11.Keyword here.
If Ashwin was Australian he wouldn’t have made it through Sheffield imo.
Ironic considering your recent posts re: Ashwin being dropped outside the SC.Makes no sense given Lyon literally came out of nowhere though. And Ash's batting would have ensured selection anyways given you were trotting out Cameron White and Steve Smith as your 1 test spinner in the 11.
There is denial and there is biased crap. You have crossed the line, congrats.
And yet you cant see the simple evidence that he has taken wickets in SENA at a rate that is better than literally every other spinner who played in the same tests as him. FWIW, he was not dropped anytime in Australia in the last 2 tours. But of course, feel free to skip over facts like that.Ironic considering your recent posts re: Ashwin being dropped outside the SC.
The fact that both exist at the same time, with a strong pace attack, is the problem for India. And having a weak batting line up on top. If they had the ATG lineup of yesteryears or even 3-5 in excellent form, they could afford to pick Ashwin over Jadeja.Ashwin, the most droppable supposed 'ATG' of all-time.
p.s. this is the same reason Jadeja should be cut points as well.
Patently untrueAnd yet you cant see the simple evidence that he has taken wickets in SENA at a rate that is better than literally every other spinner who played in the same tests as him. I’m not sure where you’re getting this crap, because again, its just patently untrue, even within his own career frame, there are multiple spinners with better SENA records. It may be helpful to lay out the simple facts here - Ashwin has done FAR better than ANY spinner in the world in SENA, not that it matters coz more than half of test cricket is played outside SENA anyways, but even keeping up with the old "cricket only matters in the imperialist cricket council nation" narrative, he has still been miles better than anyone else and proven that. The fact that we are almost always given tracks that actively NULLIFY spinners - facts which were proved with numbers in many threads here in the last 6 months or so - and the fact that none of our 4 best seamers can bat in the top 7, AND the fact that Jadeja is the #2 spinner in the world along with a top 6 level batsman(Ash obviously being the #1) means we always try to play Jadeja as the allrounder and then play the extra spinner where conditions are not actively loaded against spin.
Anyone who can actually watch the game and appreciate it for its own beauty, instead of biased crap, can see this. Hope you can see it one day too coz its sad how much you miss out on.
Everyone who says other spinners have better sena records miss this important part "played in the same tests as him" and I don't think that's by mistake. It's more by denial.Patently untrue

Those were two seperate parts of the post with two points I addressed independently. Both of which are incorrect.Everyone who says other spinners have better sena records miss this important part "played in the same tests as him" and I don't think that's by mistake. It's more by denial.
More denial. Lovely.Patently untrue

Moeen Ali.More denial. Lovely.
Pray tell me who did better than Ashwin in the games he played?
And **** off with the biased crap. You can close your eyes all you want but it wont make the world blind.

Stats like plus 25 tests in SENA without a fifer underline the big picture view of why Ashwin isnt what his fans are making him to be.Ashwin -

SENA is a ridiculously small field of reference though. Who even are the name spinners from these countries besides Lyon...and Mo to have vied with Ashwin, in the same Tests as you posit?sample size lololol
