*Official* New Zealand in Sri Lanka

Good day of cricket. Enjoyed watching. New Zealand dragged it back at the end; would have SL ahead 55-45 because it looks a tough surface for batting and likely to only get worse. NZ will be hoping for Latham to rediscover his peak years v spin; has struggled against it recently.

Looks like Kamindu Mendis was the pick of the Sri Lankan batsmen again while O'Rourke was the pick of the NZ bowlers.

Unfortunately I couldn't watch any of it here as Fox/Kayo are covering the India v Bangladesh test series instead of this one.

Suprised how effective O'rourke was his first time bowling on Asian pitches, he looks so dangerous, its rare for a young fast bowler like him to have mainly played first class cricket (and it shows) hopefully he will turn out like how NZ hoped KJ would of turned out (tho KJ is still young). Imagine if we get Henry, KJ, and O'rourke playing consistant Tests together. Think Southee time has come sadly.

Phillips looked our best spinner, he gets the most turn. Santner was useless, should of played Henry instead! Santner isnt up to Tests cricket imo.

NZ need to clean up the tail quick and cheap on day 2, hopefully Williamson can get a hundred on day 2 and get support, because we will need a lead batting last
