Shoaib was a glass canon. While I think Subs takes it to the extreme, it really is true that Akhtar missed far too many matches to be called reliable.

At a much more consistent rate. As stated previously, Shoaib hardly finished series; while Philander was instrumental in important Wins in England and Australia

Yeah.

Akhtar only played in 49% of Pakistan’s matches between his debut and retirement. Not as bad as Bond (28%) but still pretty awful.
