How stupid 3rd ump checking for edge when it was clearly going miles down leg side so could not be lbw

Remarkably similar to previous game, although not sure Aus bowling looks as strong tonight.
Thanks as Aus get 20 off 6 balls since your post 😀

Yeah, Aus bowling will be interesting.

It really is difficult to see England getting up here unless Salt and/or Livingstone goes big. That batting line-up looks weak as piss tstl

Zampa and Abbott will once again be the danger men.
I was going to say something about Surrey / Oval Invincibles to the fore, and how you'd forgotten that Hardie had a stint at The Oval too.

The I remembered the contributions from Topley, Curran and Overton to date and kept quiet.

England lucky they aren't chasing 200 or more after the start the Aussies got, 194 will still be a tough run chase though.

One of Salt or Livingstone need to fire or both to chase that total down.

England won't chase this down. It needs 2-3 of the top order to score big - Jacks, Salt and Livingstone realistically, given that Cox and Bethell are new, and the tail starts from six downwards. Expect a 40 run defeat incoming.
