With Bumrah up front and Ashwin, Jadeja and Axar to follow India surely start as favorites. Rohit, Jaiswal and Pant are our main strengths in the batting department although Pant will be playing his first test post his accident. Bangladesh's pacers impressed against Pakistan but the first match at Chepauk will be a really tough test for them

It was good opportunity to include hridoy in the squad atleast but they opted for jaker ali based on a knock he played against Pakistan A team. When will we get out of the mentality of including a player immediately after one good knock?

Jaker's inclusion makes no sense or Im missing something. He played a massive 172 knock but how this knock let him straight into test squad is confusing. His fc record is not good from a decent sample size. Whereas Hridoy already have double century and other big knocks in fc in his short career. Jaker's technique is more suited for white ball cricket the way he takes his guard from a very low position with open stance suited for leg side hoick. Selectors better be questioned for this inclusion.

Can you tell me why Saifuddin isn't playing regularly? Has good ODI no.s (though middling FC ones), a skillet Bangladesh would love to have and have mostly heard positive things about him, though can't really remember him seeing in play.
