Interesting start to the new season with Tyreek Hill being detained for a traffic offence on his way to the opening Dolphins game. I don't remember seeing Scottie Scheffler lying face down with 4 Cops on top of him. What could the difference be?
LOL is this a racism post. You know Hill has about a million arrests (and some convictions) for various violent crimes, right?

Are you serious? His agent was there and two team mates, one of whom was also detained.

Face down in handcuffs for a speeding ticket?

The cop is already on administrative duty.

If he's co-operating (as he said he was), why does he need to be face down on the ground? Scheffler all but ran over a Cop and didn't get that treatment.
I mean if you think it was heavy-handed policing I’m not going to argue. It’s just a funny comparison. It’s like seeing Mike Tyson get arrested and asking why the police didn’t get that rough with Stephen Hawking. I have no problem believing the police are racist, but race isn’t exactly the only difference there.

Also that Hill is a volatile domestic abuser who has repeatedly escaped consequences for his actions because he’s so good at football. So it feels odd to see him framed as a victim of injustice. But sure, I accept that it’s possible.

They also detained one of his teammates for just saying they were going to stay there to support him.

Looks.like they were trying to put the millionaires in their place. Seeing clips talking about a kick, but haven't seen it myself.

To be fair, having now seen the bodycam footage, Hill doesn't exactly help himself. The Cop wasn't being overly rude in tapping his car window asking him to wind it down, that he then wound it back up was kind of asking for trouble.

Fully agree, he was a dick, and an entitled one at that.

But that doesn't excuse being dragged out of the vehicle the way. They knew they weren't in any immediate or intermediate risk and that was about establishing authority and putting him in his place.

Then when the cop jumped on his back after he said he had knee surgery, how he reacted to The other players. It was disgraceful and termination worthy.

Neither quarterback in the Texas / Georgia game looks remotely like a first rounder, far less a top 10 guy.
Neither does Dion's kid.

This could be the defensive class to make up for last year's.

Travis Hunter is him though.

Not only is he an elite talent, he does it at two of the most important positions in the sport.

The Jags should pounce to get him on board.

Can be their no. 1 corder and come in on 3 wide out sets.

Guy is phenomenal.
