Both are very historically significant in their own way. New Zealand because winning in SENA for the first time and Pakistan due to the history they share. Will just keep NZ ahead as they are a much stronger team atm.

NZ was improbability stretched to the max but the current one must feel sweet beyond compare. Shame on both NZ and Pak though

Haven't seen enough of this recent win to make a comparison but I do remember thinking at the time they won in NZ that it was the best I'd ever
seen them play. The key was they backed up a solid session with another solid session and never really had any awful periods.
The circumstances in which they beat Pakistan must go close to matching it though.

It has to be NZ. Pakistan are pretty pathetic rn. NZ was just coming off a stretch of being #1 in the World and in the following test beat Bangladesh by an innings and 117 runs. Somehow don’t see Pakistan managing that. ICC ratings aren’t the be all and end all obviously but at that time I think New Zealand were at 120+ Pakistan is currently at 89.
I’m not sure what Bangladesh’s rating was at that time (its 53 now). The current No.1 team has a rating of 124.
(Though Kane did not play, neither did Tamim or Shakib)

Okay, so dug up and found England never won in Zimbabwe. Toured once and drew both matches. However..... They lost one to Afghanistan. So yeah, that makes 9 teams, but I really was talking about the big 8.
Edit: No, the Afghan series was played in UAE. So they haven't lost to 9 teams at home.
