Sachin Tendulkar 143 Vs Aus Sharjah 98. Chasing 270 odd to win in a crucial game, India had to suppress I believe 240 odd to get to the final. Sachin played an all time odi classic. Attacking when needed and batting for over 40 overs.

Steve Waugh 120 Vs Aus 99. Chasing 270 odd against an in form SA attack, needing 7 an over to win in the last 30 overs, Steve Waugh counter attacked Donald, SA bowlers to produce a memorable odi knock under extreme pressure to send Aus in the SF.

It's a close one, however I think the magnitude of the event and under extreme pressure, this has to go to Steve Waugh.
