Wrong sub, but its Thorpe. Only real weakness was South Africa, who I wouldn’t want to face in South Africa or England at that time either.

As there's no post - just wanted to say happy 55th to Thorpe. Think I have gained a reputation for being one of his biggest fans. I don't mind that. The most underrated England cricketer of all time in my view. Praying that we eventually get a positive update on his health

Thorpe a better allrounder but Langer would run him into the ground.

I am gutted. But no comparison to what his family and closest friends must be feeling. The memories he provided live on. RIP Thorpey.
