Will attempt to update the CWC10 results and points table soon. If you have played a game recently and haven't entered the data into the Google sheet yet please do so!
I'll set a deadline for finish the group stages, and we can do a straight KO for the Super Six rather than an elaborate second stage. Maybe even do Quarter Finals? Any group stage matches not completed by the deadline will be treated as abandoned with points shared. If one team can prove they've issued challenges that haven't been accepted, they'll get a forfeit win

Please help arrange your remaining matches before 21st July! Any matches not played by then will be treated as abandoned with points shared. In case any match has not been arranged due to one side not accepting the challenge, the opposition team will get the full 2 points (with no NRR boost).

I know it's depressing that the game is ending and it's hard to find motivation to set lineups, but we may as well have one last CWC10 to remember
We can do Quarter Finals after the group stages, so that 8 teams can have a chance at winning the last CWC. Straight KOs as well, make it easy to organise and finish before the game ends

In Group A, AXI have confirmed a spot to the next round, with an amazing chase by TNT being their solitary loss. ZCC sit in second, but could be overtaken in the final standings by AA and TNT, both of whom have several games in hand.
FHK and CCC sit atop Group B, separated only by NRR, but AXW could pip them in first place by the time they complete their matches. Krypto have half their games remaining, and the Pirates could potentially finish in the Top 4 as well. All to play for here!

CricketWeb Championship Season 10 Abandoned as End of the World looms near
The 10th and final edition of the popular CricketWeb Championships has been called off as the Stumped universe enters its final month of existence.
The CWC10 group stages remain incomplete, despite the pleas of the sole volunteer organiser to the participating team managers to schedule their pending matches.
With the end of the world in sight, managers across the game have given up tending to their teams, choosing instead to find new line of work in alternate cricket management MMORPG universes, or committing their now free time towards family, friends, or other IRL hobbies. As of making this announcement, only one player is currently on the Stumped TM, and activity on the forums has all but ceased to a halt.
It is a tragic end to an illustrious competition, and a game that has brought so much joy to those who invested in it.
ZCC and FHK both also put out announcements this afternoon, inviting teams from around CW to play some 'Farewell Friendlies' to bid the game goodbye, and to celebrate all that it offers one last time.

Went on nostalgia road to the season where GG CC won their only STUMPED! Cup.
This game was one of the most fun for me as a manager,
" Surreal feeling for the boys. They are lifting up their captain Sutherland on their shoulders and head to the section of the ZCC CG where a sparse crowd of GG CC supporters with a few of them wearing Moooo CC jerseys are. Peter! Peter! Peter! Bram Human is seen with a can of cold beer... "
